Wonderful Winter Wonderland Weddings

Cotswolds Christmas Wedding

Winter is a ‘chilly’ time of year! There’s no escape from the biting chill of a cold winters day even when the sun is shining here in the UK.

We are a little bit obsessed with the weather here on this small island of ours, and yet we embrace the seasons with our hearts as we would a family member because the are part of us and all we hold dear.

Unlike summer weddings when we expect the weather to be wonderful (when its often not), with winter we know what we’re getting. And we can be ready from snowfall to storms, to bitter but brilliant sunny days.

I love a winter wedding! The light although limited and time short means that together we can create the most spectacular of images. And the best bit… its a great excuse for a faux fur lined cape, snuggling wraps, and thermals under your wedding dress!

And then there’s Christmas!!! For those of you who love Christmas you can’t beat a Christmas wedding. Twinkling fairy lights, the scent of Christmas trees, hot chocolate and marshmallows!
