Now this was the most perfect micro wedding at Lords of the Manor in the middle of October this year.
“We booked Nikki fairly last minute as we wasn’t sure our wedding would be going ahead because of COVID. Luckily she was available as she was amazing! From our first phone call and then zoom call she made us feel so comfortable and excited about our upcoming wedding. The day was spectacular and during the ceremony we didn’t even see her taking our photos she was so discrete. After the ceremony when we had our photographs taken it was like having a friend walking around the gardens with us! The end result….wow! I was speechless. Nikki made me look like a beautiful princess. In fact we both haven’t stopped looking at the photos and that is so unlike Andy! We couldn’t recommend Nikki highly enough, she is a brilliant photographer and a lovely person to have around you.” Amanda and Andy
Amanda (a clinical assistant) and Andy (a Banker for HSBC) were married in the stunning setting of Lords of the Manor in Upper Slaughter in October this year.
Lords of the Manor as a wedding setting is exquisite whatever time of year you choose. And being able to accommodate all of their wedding party was a huge bonus for this lovely couple who had travelled from near London with their family for their perfect wedding weekend.
Originally from Sydney, Andy found his gorgeous wife when he came to the UK and they were playing touch rugby back in October 2014!
Andy proposed to Amanda one romantic evening at their home near London. They then chose Lords of the Manor in 2019 to ensure that they could have their special day there. The rest of their wedding was planned within two months.
Amanda and Andy chose Lords of the Manor for their wedding as they loved the setting. Everything they wanted was here. Romance, location, incredible service. The lot!
What made Amanda and her Brother look shocked and then burst into fits of giggles?
Andy is a bit of a practical joker and had smuggled in a set of false teeth which he wore to greet Amanda as she walked down the aisle! More on those teeth later…!
Amanda and Andy’s wedding rings were from a jewellers in romantic Sorrento.
This perfect micro wedding meant that only immediate family and very close friends could attend in keeping with the UK Government guidelines at the time.
And here are the joke teeth in all their glorious detail (below)!!!!
The stunning grounds of Lords of the Manor were bursting with seasonal plants. You really can have a DIY wedding here as you don’t need to add anything!
Amanda and Andy with their favourite – a bottle of Bollinger!
“We booked you because Lords of the Manor said you were the best and we wanted the best! You are a brilliant photographer and a lovely person to have with us on our wedding day.” Andy & Amanda

As a photographer one of the many things I love about Lords of the Manor are the gardens. Being a keen gardener I am enchanted by the detail, the care and attention that goes into the gardens by the dedicated gardening team. Every week there is something new to see in this incredibly well established setting.
Andy and Amanda chose a chocolate wedding cake!
Huge congratulations to you both! Your wedding day was a joy to be a part of!
