As the pandemic hit the UK and the rest of the world the wedding industry was hit hard. For an industry that employs over 400,000 people and contributes over £14 BILLION to the UK economy alone, 2020 was the year of nightmares.
The industry was then advised that a maximum of 30 people would be allowed to attend a wedding over the summer. By the autumn this had shrunk to a maximum of 15 in attendance.
What this meant for wedding venues was that they needed to adapt, and do it fast.
Our sister company Carlé & Moss was already working with the Kings Head Hotel in Cirencester when this discussion came up and Nikki gave them the solution of creating spaces within a space.
The Kings Head Hotel has the most incredible function room. But its big! How on earth could anyone visualise a small wedding in there? The solution was to create spaces within a space. The Clients loved the idea and so we moved forward to create a photo shoot to showcase this solution to show couples that this was the perfect Cirencester wedding venue.
We divided the Assembly Room into three areas.
And so the fabulous Elise created a superb team and ran the photo shoot to showcase the solution we needed to show. Scroll on down for the Dream Team!
For wedding and private party clients this also means that everyone and everything stays in one place for the duration. Perfect for the current pandemic restrictions and perfect for those very on trend smaller weddings.
The photo shoot was divided into the two seasons of autumn and winter with Nikki Kirk Photography photographing the bridal fashion images and our sister company Carlé & Moss photographing the detail and room set ups including aerial images.
