Well hello Autumn, you have finally and most properly arrived!
Midway through autumn and the world changes by the day. The leaves are turning their russet reds, golds, and oranges and are starting to take flight from their branches. Swirling to the ground in the gentle breeze like confetti on a wedding day.
As we start to ready ourselves for winter here in the UK, unpacking winter clothes from the attic, dreaming of cooking up pumpkin soups and warming baked goods, its also a lovely time of year to consider for getting married.
You still have the warmth of the sunshine yet in the evenings you can indulge in fun semi-winter ideas like roasting marshmallows around a fire pit, or serving your guests warming cups of soup with crusty bread rolls as snack foods. Proper thick custard with sticky treats and of course a rich bodied glass of merlot!
