Janet and Jonathan’s wedding at The Greenway as a joy of a wedding to photograph! And what a joy this couple were to get to know!
Janet and Jonathan had been abroad for a number of years but had decided to put down roots here in the Cotswolds and the iconic spa town of Cheltenham. And what better way to start a new life in a new town than to get married there!
The Greenway is a beautiful venue on the outskirts of Cheltenham. Perfect for an intimate wedding when you want just your nearest and dearest there.
Here is their Wedding Story…
Janet arrived at The Greenway in style in a chauffeur driven Bentley from Azure Cars…
And was driven by The Boss himself – David!
Janet had chosen the Oak Room to prepare for her wedding to Jonathan. The four poster bed was just dreamy and the perfect backdrop for her Stuart Parvin wedding dress with accompanying belt.
Details on a wedding day are so important. Bringing in family heirlooms helps to keep those that are no longer with us close to us on a wedding day…
Janet’s stunning bouquet was created by Lilyfee Floral Designs…
With hair and make up for both Janet and her Mum by Jodi Croft…
Meanwhile Jonathan was in the comfortable and elegant reception area with his parents as guests started to arrive…
I always like to take portraits of parents if I can. When I ask them when the last time they had a professional photographer take their photograph the answer is 9 times out of 10 “on our wedding day”!
What a lovely relaxed set up for a wedding ceremony…
Just before the wedding Janet shared some champagne and giggles with her bridesmaid and family…
A quiet moment of reflection in the Oak Room at The Greenway…
Time for one final photograph (above) before Janet walked down the aisle on the arm of her Mother. Her late Father’s wedding ring tucked into her bouquet.
And finally they were Mr and Mrs!
A very elegant wedding day but with a lot of fun and laughter…
And who says group photographs need to be formal (below)!
I love this image above as Jonathan and Janet walked through the gardens at The Greenway. The fish tail on Janet’s bridal gown by Stuart Parvin gently kicking out behind her, just as it was designed to do.
The wedding breakfast had a traditional top table with round tables in front making for an intimate wedding breakfast where everyone could chat.
And the cake! Oh boy! Delicious cheese from The Cheeseworks in Cheltenham. Our bride loved it so much that she ended up working there for a while!
A wonderful day for a wonderful couple.
