Here at Nikki Kirk Photography we will be taking bookings for weddings that take place from the middle of July 2020 onwards unless we have guidance from the UK Government that advises us not to.
We have steps in place to ensure that we can work safely.
Before restarting work we are carrying out the necessary risk assessments in our working environments.
For NKP HQ and the NKP Studio we will not be having face to face meetings until the UK Government advises us that we are safe to do so without protective measures being in place. The objective of this is to reduce transmission during face-to-face meetings and to maintain social distancing in meetings.
During this period we will continue meetings and consultations via Zoom and Skype, email and telephone calls. This also minimises non essential travel for both Clients and the NKP Team.
Viewings will not take place at the Studio until further notice. All wedding Clients will receive their wedding images via courier.

To keep us safe and healthy during the current pandemic we are limiting the time we need to be out on location.
When we are on location please be mindful that we might need some extra time (see ‘Weddings After Lockdown’) and that we will need frequent access to handwashing facilities including paper towels, hand sanitiser, masks and gloves.
The NKP Team are fortunate in that for the most part we can work from home for admin and edits. We will continue to do this until we are advised otherwise by the UK Government.
The physical and mental wellbeing of the NKP Team is paramount to our work.

Where possible we will be maintaining the recommended two metre social distancing guidelines.
Where this is not possible we will be doing everything practical to manage the transmission risk by:
1. Considering whether an activity needs to continue for the business to operate.
2. Keeping the activity time involved as short as possible.
3. Staggering arrival and departure times, and reducing the number of people each person has contact with by using ‘fixed teams or partnering’.
4. Reducing movement by discouraging non-essential trips.
5. Reducing maximum occupancy for travel. Using individual vehicles rather than sharing as before.
Each wedding outline will be reviewed on a wedding by wedding basis. The outline is likely to need tweaking and time adding.
Please see ‘Weddings After Lockdown‘
We remind customers who are accompanied by children that they are responsible for supervising them at all times and should follow social distancing guidelines.
Photography Studios come under the ‘Shops and Branches’ guidelines as set out by the British Government.
The full Government Guidelines can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/working-safely-during-coronavirus-covid-19/shops-and-branches
