What a lovely couple and what a wonderful double wedding celebration they had!
I first met Vicky and Oli at a wedding fair when they were in the initial stages of planning their day. I wasn’t available for their wedding date but luckily Charlotte who works for me as a second shooter was, and so I was able to introduce them to her and she was free to photograph their wedding for them at Dumbleton Hall during the covid pandemic. It was a beautiful winter wedding just before Christmas, filled with seasonal decor and flowers to match.
Come the summer the restrictions on social gatherings had lifted and they planned a huge celebratory party near their home in Stoke Orchard. I was free for this date and was delighted to be able to shoot this special evening of celebrations for them.
We started with some photographs with their family in the garden which is very special to them. They’ve worked hard and it shows. Its a gorgeous garden. As we then made our way to their party venue (literally a stones throw away) I took some more formal photographs of them within yards of their front door! I spotted this little patch of land and knew it would make the perfect backdrop for some relaxed photographs of just the two of them.
