I love a Pantone reference!
I worked in the wonderful world of advertising and branding before I became a full time photographer. Pantone references were part of my every day world. I still have my Pantone swatch book – its a treasured possession.
A colour has the power to evoke feelings and to encourage behaviours.
This is also something I will be teaching on my Branding for Photographers Training Courses (in development and coming soon…).
‘Living Coral’; what a beautiful name and a deliciously rich colour. Perfect to take you from spring to summer. And then from autumn into winter with the associated colour palette of reds and oranges.
Rich vibrant hues. Evoking warmth, the blush of love, and smiles. This colour really does lift your mood.
Not sure how to incorporate this into your wedding day? Here are some gorgeous and colourful ideas for you to steal…!
Nikki’s Notes… Add a touch of Living Coral to your wedding cake with either a real flower in this colour or an edible flower. (Image above take at Clearwell Castle)
Gorgeous bride Claire gave her bridesmaids a soft hue of the living coral for their bridesmaids dresses. A flattering colour for most skin tones. (Image above taken at Glenfall House).
Nikki’s Notes… I love how the living coral is part of a colour palette of dresses. Shown here on the morning of Georgie’s and Alex’s wedding.
Nikki’s Notes… the perfect pop of colour on a groomswoman’s wedding suit! Love how the Living Coral colour just lifts everything. (Image above taken at Glenfall House)
