Now this wedding at Glenfall House was so special for Lisa and Simon as the Glenfall Estate has huge sentimental significance for Lisa’s family as her Grandparents lived and worked as Head Gardener and Housekeeper at Glenfall House and Lisa’s Mum lived there as a child. And what a wedding it was! Lisa’s and Simon’s families came together to celebrate the marriage of this lovely couple who were set up by their Mum’s!
the Mum’s played skittles together and some time later after the Mum’s had been chatting about their children being single; Lisa was sent to Court Farm where Simon has been farming all his life (he is the fourth generation at Court Farm) to buy eggs and the rest as they say is history! If you haven’t paid a visit to Court Farm just outside Cheltenham make sure you do, the Farm Shop and Butchery was opened in 2015 and they are already multi award winners for their farming practices as well as the Farm Shop and its produce. They even won the Cotswold Life Food & Drink Award for Best Farm Shop two years running (2016 and 2017)
Even their wedding day was ‘married’ to the farm as their wedding date was the weekend of the 2nd Anniversary of their Farm Shop being open!
Lisa and Simon both started the day at their respective childhood homes before making their way (Simon in a tractor and Lisa in a vintage car) to Glenfall House for their wedding and celebrations. I think the photographs speak for themselves of the obvious joy of these two families coming together (families we at TeamNKP have gotten to know and have totally fallen for!) and tell the story of the day far better than I can in typing this so I’ll let you scroll through and see for yourselves what a magical wedding day they had at Glenfall House.
