I first met Sam a number of years ago at the automotive company she was working for at the time and I was bowled over by her fab customer service, so much so, that when we met again at a Cheltenham wedding show I recognised her immediately! I was delighted to be chosen to photograph their wedding last summer at the Manor House Hotel in Moreton-in-Marsh.
I also met Dave's sister Hayley at their wedding and I'm so excited to be photographing her wedding to James this summer!

The joys of modern technology – we were able to Facetime with Dave's Mum who was getting ready!

From memory it was one of the hottest days of the year! I recall that the year before I had also been at the Manor House Hotel on a scorcher of a day for the wedding of Matt and Erika Jo (CLICK HERE to see their wedding blog).

A gorgeous summers day meant that we spent most of it outside in the beautiful grounds…
The walled garden made the perfect back drop for their photographs…
Before they went to greet their guests and spend time with them before dinner was called…
Dave and Sam love New York City and Dave asked Sam to marry him on a trip there in Central Park. All of the tables were named after well known places and landmarks in the city that never sleeps…
Sam's Mum kicked off the speeches…
Their bespoke wedding cake was made by Curtis & Co. Cakes with the decorative hand piped icing following the same style as the railings in Central Park NYC!!!
Following dinner we were all able to make the most of the summer evening and escaped into the gardens for photo booth fun!
Before we headed back into the cool air conditioned suite for their first dance…
