Christina and Jon have chosen Elmore Court for their wedding day celebrations next year, however in the meantime we teamed up with the events team there to take this stunning set of engagement portraits for them.
We broke the session into two halves; the first part was very glamorous. I guess you could liken them to the Vanity Fair style portraits you see around the time of the Oscars. An outfit change later and the second half was very much Christina and Jon in their casual clothes just loving life!
A small selection of the images for you to see…
We started off inside Elmore Court in one of my favourite spaces; the Drawing Room. The dark wood panelling and the stunning shutters allowed for some serious light control. And of course a little help from my MagMod lighting gear using off camera flash to create some drama.
As with all of the bespoke engagement portraits I create, I had first pulled together concept boards for Christina and Jon for them to sign off and also to ensure that we were creating something perfect for them. It also meant that we had heads full of ideas from the poses through to the outfits.
We then ventured outside with Christina and Jon still in their evening attire…
After changing into some casual clothes we took some time to have a walk around the grounds at Elmore Court and took these natural and relaxed images for this gorgeous couple…
