“You know you get told that super heroes wear capes? Well I truly believe Nikki should be wearing one too. We went to meet Nikki in her lovely studio, we took Jake our faithful hound. I thought he’d suss her out and after all he was our ring bearer on the day- let’s see how she deals with that!
So my first words to Nikki after the lovely greeting and cup of tea was I hate having my picture taken and our dog is the ring bearer so you’ll need to factor that in!! Not a problem at all Jake was quite happy led on his back being stroked by Nikki!!
Nikki totally assured me she’d worked with people who felt exactly the same as I did and my doubts and fears faded away when Nikki explained the packages on offer, and gorgeous selection of albums offered. Nikki kept in constant contact in the lead up to the wedding offering a host of ideas and suggestions. We had a pre shot at the venue where Nikki suggested shot ideas and holds to make me feel relaxed and at ease on the day and assured me that even though my smile felt totally fake that on the day it would all be fine…..
So the day arrived and true to her word I smiled all day long not only did this super hero turn up to photograph my bride tribe get ready she totally put everyone at ease calming the atmosphere and cracking jokes stepping in when we had a slight glitch- nothing is too much trouble for this lady. One of my outstanding memories that calmed my nerves even when you have your best friends stood by your side was pulling up at the venue and Nikki’s smiling face looking back at you holding an Umbrella to get you out of the car saying deep breath and giving me the thumbs up! Seriously that was the best calming tactic ever.
If you’re looking for a photographer that will go the extra mile, deal with high maintenance requests, be totally professional but personable then Nikki is the lady you need on your special day. A wedding is not a wedding without Nikki Kirk …..”
The new Mrs Mason!
An absolutely lovely wedding at Priors Tithe Barn in Brockworth for the gorgeous Andrea and Rob and what a beautiful wedding it was too. Although the day started with rain, the clouds soon cleared and a beautiful spring day greeted us. They timed it perfectly – the sun came out as they said I do! Here is a sneaky peak of their wedding day photographs…
Andrea and Rob had thought of everything from a corsage for Andrea’s sister in law to ‘hooray’ flags to wave as they were announced into dinner, huge attention to detail which made for a fabulous wedding day. The Barn was styled and managed on the day by Lauradana Day of Wedding Creations.
The day itself started with heavy downpours in typical British weather style however by the time our newlyweds had made their promises to each other the storm clouds had cleared and we were able to go out into the gardens of Priors Tithe Barn and Priors Court for their photographs whilst guests nibbled on canapes and sipped on bubbles.
Sarah Harper-Little of Cotswold Ceremonies presided over the day and even had a treat for ring bearer Jake – Andrea’s and Rob’s furry baby! Family featured heavily in their big day with Andrea’s niece having the very important job of delivering her safely to Rob at the end of the aisle.
It was a glorious day filled with love and laughter and #TeamNKP were delighted to have played a small part in the Mason Wedding!
