A summers day in August in the beautiful spa town of Cheltenham and it rained…and rained…and rained!
The morning of the wedding dawned dry and bright and as sunny as the sunflowers in the bouquets by Lilyfee Floral Designs. Elizabeth and her bridesmaids got ready at Elizabeth’s childhood home before making their way to Sacred Hearts Church in Charlton Kings where Ryan and his groomsmen were waiting. The ceremony was taken by family friend Father Mark who has known Elizabeth and her family for many years.
Just as the couple had finished saying their wedding vows there was an almighty crack of lightening above the Church followed by an enormous rumble of thunder and then the heavens opened! Luckily for everyone; Sacred Hearts church was able to accommodate us all for the group photographs in front of the altar.
Elizabeth and Ryan left for the iconic Pittville Pump Room as the clouds lifted in a stunning Bentley from Azure cars, and we were blessed with sunshine for the remainder of the day. After a flurry of group photographs and as guests went into dinner we took some time to take some beautiful photographs of the new Doctor and Mrs Robinson. Elizabeth looking spectacular in her bridal gown from Wedding Days of Cheltenham.
Speeches were made, tears were shed, and champagne was drunk as this happy couple and their guests enjoyed a three course wedding breakfast from Fosters Catering before everyone got onto the dance floor for a good old fashioned barn dance!
Here are just a few of our other favourite images of the day…
