Well this was both nerve wracking and exciting although I’m not quite sure at the time which emotion came out on top!
Professional qualifications are often something pushed to one side in the photography industry, especially in the world of wedding photography.
We’re often juggling multiple weddings from the initial consultations right the way through to delivering the finished collection of images. To find the time to pull together a panel of images that are all technically on point as well as writing the cover submission is daunting and not always at the top of a to do list.
It was important for me to find the time to add that extra value and reassurance for my Clients and those of you looking to engage and book me as your wedding photographer.
To the best of my knowledge there is no other photographer in the county of Gloucestershire that holds this professional qualification for wedding photography at the time of writing this blog.
The QGWP awarded indicates knowledge of the craft (of wedding photography) to a level where the Guild of Photographers is willing to recognise the photographer as an Ambassador of the Association. And I am indeed an Ambassador for The Guild of Photographers! Welcoming in new members as one of their Members Ambassadors.
