Or should it be called Choices Day?
Today sees a few changes coming our way as the restrictions that have been with us since early 2020 are lifted.
Some of us will be rather nervous and other will be dancing with joy as the need to curb our daily activities ends.
Here at Nikki Kirk Photography we will still be observing some of the original guidelines for the safety of our Clients and ourselves.
As with many other businesses, from today things won’t actually look all that different when we are out on location and at your weddings and engagement photo shoots with you.
I have made the decision to continue to protect my Team and vulnerable clients by continuing with the same practice protocols that we have used throughout the pandemic.
COVID has not gone away and case numbers are high. My Team and I are vaccinated however the stats show that even those who have been vaccinated can catch this awful virus and pass it on without knowing/being asymptomatic.
What this means in reality is that we will continue to wear face masks when inside and when in a crowded area and we will continue to observe social distancing when possible.
In real terms what this means is that if one of us tests positive the whole business has to close whilst we go into isolation. And that means missing/having to cancel other Clients wedding bookings. This is not something we are prepared to do for the sake of our Clients, the business, and after the awful 18 months of no weddings – our own mental health.
Thank you for your patience – Team NKP
