An incredibly elegant wedding for Sally and Jon at Farnham Castle last autumn…
I met Sally and Jon via a recommendation and as a result; photography from NKP was their wedding gift from Sally's boss!
This delightful couple were married in some serious style at the fabulous Farnham Castle in Surrey – a real fairytale wedding.

As you arrive at Farnham Castle you pull in off the hill onto a sweeping uphill driveway which takes you into the side of the Castle which is where I saw the car that had brought out 'very posh bride to be' to a 'very posh location'! 
Sally and the girls were getting ready in The Gatehouse which is just to the side of the Castle as the names suggests. The Gatehouse has been turned into a beautiful building for the bride to be to get ready in, its really well thought out with hooks for dresses, plenty of mirrors and a separate downstairs lounge area. When I arrived the first thing I saw on the first floor was Sally's stunning wedding gown from Vera Wang! It was out of this world, a real fairytale gown…
Sally accessorised on her big day with the colour purple including these shoes from Salvatore Ferragamo…
Sally's four bridesmaids were in purple with beautiful bouquets to match…
Before the final preparations commenced the girls had time for a glass of champagne in the lounge in champagne glasses the Bride had, had commissioned for them all…
Meanwhile Jon and the boys were arriving at the Castle…
We went up into the castle keep ruins for these photographs in the late morning sunshine…
Before popping back over to Sally in the Gatehouse I popped into the ceremony room in the Bishops Palace for a sneaky peak…
Sally was making the final preparations and being laced into her Vera Wang bridal gown by her bridesmaids…
We then stopped at the huge gates of the Gatehouse for some final photographs before they made their way across the driveway to the Bishops Palace for the wedding ceremony…
The Bishop’s Palace has hosted celebrations and monarchs (including King John and Queen Victoria) for over 900 years and the wedding of Sally and Jon was another incredible day to add to the history of this magnificent building…
The moment has finally arrived as the girls make their entrance followed by Sally on the arm of her Father…
A moment of giggles as names were mixed up and Sally nearly married her Father when the registrar got the names the wrong way around!
Husband and wife at last and that first magical kiss!
Sally and Jon made their way down the steps throw an arch of confetti and out into the gardens…
We had a few family photographs…
Before lots of chatting and catching up with family and friends over a glass of champagne…
Sally, Jon and I then slipped away for twenty minutes for these romantic wedding photographs in the grounds of Farnham Castle…
Back in the Bishops Palace it was nearly time for the wedding breakfast. Here in the Great Hall the colour purple continued including these packets of 'Mint to be' personalised wedding mints!
During the courses of the wedding breakfast the new Mr & Mrs Pillow were able to slip amongst the tables and chat to their guests…
And then came the speeches! Absolutely brilliant, very funny, a few tears, but a lot of giggles!
This social media savvy couple even had their own Instagram hashtag!
As the evening commenced guests chatted in the balcony bar overlooking the Great Hall…
Sally and Jon then cut their three tier wedding cake complete with miniatures of themselves…
Before heading back into the Great Hall for their first dance…
