The end of last month saw saw what is traditionally seen as the British wedding season draw to a close. To acknowledge this, and the millions of wedding-day moments that were missed this year, this stunning film titled ‘A Million Moments‘ has been created to highlight what makes weddings the extraordinary, life-affirming events that they are; precious, milestone moments that can never be replicated.

Here at NKP we know only too well what the loss of these moments means. The lives and livelihoods have been and continue to be impacted, the futures that have been put on hold and that none of us have been able to turn to the next page in the stories of our lives.
I wanted to share this film with you to show exactly why weddings are so very important in our lives and what they represent – what they say about us as humans and why we need them, more than ever, to look forward to. I don’t mind admitting I had a good cry when I watched this.

This explains the joy I get from photographing a wedding. Getting to know my Clients and their families. Being there and capturing these moments in a lifetime to be treasured for eternity. As we enter week three in lockdown number two here in England this film feels even more important and more poignant than the makers could ever imagined it would be.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Be you one of my Client couples, a fellow wedding industry professional or wedding venue – if you’ve felt lost, heartbroken, forgotten or achingly sad for all those moments stolen this year, I hope that sharing this film speaks to you, that ultimately, it uplifts you and reminds you of the joy of weddings.

What About Weddings set out to create this campaign film to remind you that when all feels dark and hopeless, there is light out there – always, that these moments will be 100% worth the wait.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Huge gratitude to the 26 exceptional British film makers who made this film possible, but special thanks to Ben @tynegate_films for rising to the challenge of creating this film. Please see all of the details via the YouTube link.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

2020 is the year when a million missed moments, won’t ever be forgotten…
